How to write an obituary

 

An obituary can be placed in a local newspaper that reports the death of your loved one, typically with information about the upcoming funeral.

Notices in the Herald and The Argus

In the Worthing Herald series which includes Shoreham to Littlehampton, our cut off time for the once a week Thursdays edition is 3.30 pm on Monday.

An obituary in the Herald without a photo costs approximately £150 inc. VAT.

A longer obituary in the Herald with a photo costs approximately £200 inc. VAT.

For The Argus which covers Brighton on a daily basis, the cut off time for the following day is 9.30 am.
